Any ARexx'ers around? What do you do with ARexx?

Anyone out here still doing stuff with ARexx?

 

I did a lot of personal utility stuff in ARexx up until around 2000-ish. When I was exposed to PHP and ColdFusion I asked myself, why not do that in ARexx? So I started and never finished an ARexx-based web-scripting engine (it was not anything special or a live parser, you ran the creator every so often and it generated static pages.) During the same time I wrote a DynDNS updater, a bunch of stuff for AmIRC and StrICQ, and so on. It is a very powerful language.

 

Right now my Amiga is not easily accessible as the computer room is in disarray due to an impending move. Fortunately the new place has plenty of space for my hobbies. I have been using Regina Rexx on my laptop to develop a utility to man-handle TI sound list binaries (ultimately the target is to run under ARexx.) From what I understand, this method does not stray too far as at least AROS uses Regina as its engine.
