Hello got an Atari 2600 Jr and only displaying black and white, thought it might be the RF modulator, so av modded it and still black and white. Replaced black and white switch still same and even repaced the colour pot.

Any ideas?

Doesnt seem to be any bad solder joints on board, all capacitors look ok.

Did you try making an adjustment to the color potentiometer inside the unit? Looks like a flat white disc with a slot in it

I was just having this problem on my original light sixer. Turns out that the internal contacts in the cartridge port were dirty. I took a swab doused in rubbing alcohol and applied it to a cartridge. I then immediately inserted it and withdrew it from the console, repeatedly. Cleaned the crud off the cart and repeated the process until there was no new contaminants on the cart contacts.
