drummer4261900
Neo Geo Pocket Color Having Issues. I got a really cheap Neo Geo Pocket Color the guy hadn't tested it but its in perfect shape on the body and the screens in good shape only a couple minor scuffs. I got it and got some games for it. I put a game it didn't work noticed there is rust on the battery leads cleaned that off really good put batteries in there it worked just fine until I decided to put a SUB Battery in there then it stopped working for some reason now it won't work at all even with the SUB Battery out. Any help would be great not sure what happened... Thanks!

If you said that when you cleaned the regular battery slot and worked fine, then the unit is not making proper contact with the SUB battery or both are not making proper contact with each other due to corrosion under it! Have no fear, these are common for the NGPC and simple to take care of if you like to do it yourself! Here's a video from the Neo-Geo thread that has a similar situation regarding the rust corrosion that affected a few NGPC units! Anthony... drummer4261900
I took it apart. Once I got it apart I noticed there are a few screws missing. I tried to go to the hardware store. The guy laughed at me when I showed him the small screw. Trying to find out where I can get some scews?
