I had a 64 as a kid and I loved it for the last few years I have passively been looking at yard sales thrift stores etc thinking if I ever saw one cheap I might pick it. Tonight I got a response from a want add. A guy has what he calls a commodore 64 track 128 with okidata printer, moniter, disk drive, tape drive, keyboard, joystick and maybe 100 or so games. Just wondering what a package like this would bring, Im not going to pay ebay prices for one because Im sure like so many other things I buy this will be something I tire of quickly.. Just looking for a ball park figure or what you guys might pay for a similar set up from a facebook garage sale page

In my part of the world, that package would easily be sold at $150, perhaps up to $200. It all depends if the buyer is eager to have it, or are into it for reselling purposes. The numbers are based on that everything is working and in fair to good condition. By 100 games, does that refer to backups or originals? Try to figure out if it is a Commodore 64 or a Commodore 128, the description seems a bit vague.

I think at $125 or so, you would be able to get your money back if you get tired of it soon.

Yeah, I'm lost... :o

kinda like the Chuckie Cheese hologram stuck in the window of that eatery. ;)

The Chuck E. reflection happens to be a very cool abberation as I was only intending to capture the dolts paying more attention to their cell phones than each other. Nothing screams 2015 more than *that* idiotic behavior. ;)

Turns out, that cool little restaurant (Diamond Dave's) in the mall was closed shortly after I snapped the photo, so nice to have 'something' to remember it by. lol

Yea not sure I have an answer to any of the above questions.. I was also confused it might be a moot point as he has not responded in a couple days. I was looking on ebay just to get a ball park figure on the different pieces. If I can get it for 150-200 Id risk it especially if the games are originals. Worse case scenario I could sell some of the working parts to recoup some money if it was dead. I would never pay it but certain moniters look like they are selling 50 low to 100 high end and Im sure some of the games if originals could bring a few bucks. Hell even if I could sell them for a buck a piece Id get most of money back

Dude I assumed they were strangers sitting at the same table.. Duh! Into their gadgets... of course... yeah you captured the 2015 dolls, too much cell to notice you back :D ;)

I never brought a phone into a place with food before. In fact I still don't use a cell phone.

I dont often talk much in general.. unless its a Gemini talking to me, you name it... anyone born in June, when they talks, I answer.
