moodswings
i'm having weird issues with my elgato capture hd. i say weird issues, because they seem to have literally popped out of nowhere. what happens is that i'll record something, watch it in the game capture program, and all is fine. but then i'll export it as an mp4, and all of a sudden the audio is out of sync. the only thing that i can think of that's changed since before this problem started is that i updated the version of vlc that i use, but that can't be the issue, can it? anyway, if anybody could help me out, that would be great. TPA5
Can you try playing the file in a different media player than VLC? If VLC is the only thing that has changed, it's best to try and rule it out right away.
moodswings
windows media player doesn't much like it either. checking other videos (i recorded one more after it, before i noticed) it seems like maybe it's only the one recording that's having issues. i would leave it at that and just go, oops i guess that one just got messed up, if it weren't for the fact that it plays fine in game capture. that's what's confusing me. leods
I don't have an elgato, but experience with shadowplay and another capture device, and both have Problems with sync if there is any Problems with storage bandwidth or when there is any change in the Signal during the recording.
