Jason_Atari
Hi all, i came across this auction on ebay and noticed the unusual silver labelled 2600 carts. The Air Sea Battle label design ive never seen before, and the way most of the silver labels are rounded on the corners are not normal. Has anyone seen these before? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/272046093150?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Jason_Atari
I just noticed that the defender cart looks odd also
+save2600
At first I thought they might be Polyvox versions, but not so sure. Label is upside down too and the way the corners are rounded. Probably just some strange Eurasian variant or bootleg.
CPUWIZ
I think they are "replacement" labels, notice how the endlabels are all missing as well?
Jason_Atari
Thanks, yeah the labels are upside down, so the side your seeing is the cartridge slot, the end labels might still be on.
Philflound
What a surprise, another Australian seller with possible fake crap.
nofrills100
Are they not just New Zealand released Atari games? They have specifically bigger that normal rounded corner labels.

Actually you may be right. I forgot all about these since I don't own any. Can anyone confirm that NZ labels were put on upside down? http://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=2&type=G&publisher=2559&step=25 Rom is missing some of these scans so it would be nice if the winner could scan them and send them to him. +FujiSkunk
The seller's name, kiwi_pickers, would suggest he or she is in fact from New Zealand. Here is another page with info about variants specific to New Zealand, though pictures that show both the front and side labels seem a little hard to come by. Philflound
I actually wouldn't mind owning a few of these. Though funds are always low. Phil
