Wow, 10 times NYD and every time some new people and some 'residents' doing
stuff for our ATARI. It's a pleasure to have that amount of creativity no
matter if one is a coder, a painter, a songwriter, a profi, a beginner or what
ever. Every entry brings a big smile into my face no matter on what level it is.
The fun being creative is/was my main intention when I first asked for some
snippets of your work and always, when I ask you again

We have seen a lot of cool things over the passed years. Hope to get even more
in the future.

Now have fun with this year's edition!

Happy New Year 2016!

Thanks guys....

Not the best start here to the new year, got the dreaded 'Man' flu, unstoppable diarrhoea while having to drive my Mother inlaw to the Mosque, what an uncomfortable journey to and fro that was and managed to run over a pigeon which when you are an animal lover is depressing as hell.

So lets see if the disk cheers me up.... :)

Great stuff !!

Besides, I re-created the NYD 2010 picture show by MetalGuy66. Originally this RGB picture show used a 16MB ATR image with SDFS, required 128k RAM AND separate Antic access to load and showed 17 pictures. Think last year, errm, now min. two years ago, I created two new versions:

a) one version that still requires 128k RAM and sep. Antic access to load and still uses MetalGuy66`s original viewer with unpacked pictures (if you do not have sep. Antic access available you will not see anything but a blank screen)...

b) the other version runs fine with 64k RAM, uses RLE-packed pictures with a different viewer and does NOT require sep. Antic access. (It uses a very old version of Altirra Basic V.1.33 or so, but one can replace it easily with the newest ALTBAS version of course.)

Both versions come on standard 130k DOS 2.5 disks (ATR images), so they can also be loaded from real A8 floppy drives. Maybe the NYD2010 collection can be updated with these versions (as an addendum to the 16MB version)...
