+Trebor
Attached is the Midnight Mutants Supplemental Material that I've put together. It is very graphical and contains a rather self-explanatory mapping system rather than a verbose walkthrough. The pages are attached below in PNG format minus the Appendix section. Download the complete guide including larger, more extensive and complete maps from the Appendix here: MM_SupplementalGuideSM.zip P.S. At least 148,790 points needed before saving/releasing Grandpa from the Patch for a max score of 9,999,990. 21
KevinMos3
Thank you Trebor, for an awesome guide to one of my favorite games. I just had to print it as soon as I noticed this post (with an alternate color cover). Thanks again!
+Trebor
Just a bump for those looking for a little Halloween fun from the 7800. If rescuing Grandpa Munster from a Pumpkin Patch Prison doesn't get you into the Halloween spirit, nothing will.

+save2600
Whoa, thanks for bumping this Trebor! Not sure how I missed it first time around. Will print out later and give the game a good playing soon. Haven't explored it in depth in quite a while.
+sixersfan105
Wow, Trebor, this is amazing! Great work (hope two years late isn't too late for a compliment haha)! Would you consider selling a high-quality printed and bound copy of this? I'd be all over it.

While I do not foresee myself selling a high-quality printed and bound copy, KevinMos3 did a fantastic job with his personal copy. In the event he is able and available to make you a copy and send it, perhaps you may want to shoot him over a PM to see if purchasing one from him is a possible option.

LidLikesIntellivision
P.S. At least 148,790 points needed before saving/releasing Grandpa from the Patch for a max score of 9,999,990. So, I think you can achieve the max score ending the game with 148,790 and its multiples: 2x 148,790; 3x 148,790... But I'm not sure... In my case, I had the max score by writing down the score I had just before saving Grandpa, writing my final score and then, for a next game, I just added the difference. At first, I thought the final score was just luck, so I finished the game 4 or 5 times hopping to get Oyamafamily's score in the HSC. Good memories. +Trebor
Halloween is less than 2 weeks away; some Midnight Mutants (and a little help courtesy of this thread), sets the mood nicely.
+sixersfan105
@Albert, would you consider selling this in hard copy form, perhaps same quality as the homebrew game manuals, in the AtariAge Store? With some royalties going to @Trebor, of course. I honestly think it would sell quite a few copies!
SlidellMan
Nice. Speaking of supplemental material, I'm making some for a homebrew I'm working on.

The only request is to leave the "by Trebor" credit in place. ?

KevinMos3
I recently reformatted the pdf with all text retyped and all images' contrast/brightness adjusted for better results with my printer (your mileage may vary). I thought to upload the pdf here, but turns out my adjustments made the thing 56MB ? (prolly because I made it 600dpi). So, here's a google drive link. Zipped up it's just over 42MB. https://drive.google.com/open?id=15iKTEZx-zPzCkA6aM72a9Pmsv4BgXIsx If you print with Adobe Acrobat or some variant of it, choose the "Booklet" setting. You'll want to be able to print double sided. For my printer, I found out "Orientation" had to be "Portrait," (NOT "Landscape" like you'd think). It will print Landscape either way, but when set to Landscape, it prints the reverse-side pages upside-down. Here's a screenshot of my Adobe print settings: Printed like this, you can fold the stack of pages in half to make a booklet, staple it at the center line, and trim off the edges. It should turn out like the pic in my earlier post. 4

Agreed...I always play MM this time of year (and Dracula on the Lynx) One interesting tidbit that I learned about MM recently is that it was released October 11th, 1990. So happy birthday to MM! On a different note - does anyone know who owns the rights to this game? Seems Radioactive Software only got this one out of the gate, so I've always been curious who owns the IP...
Cousin Vinnie
Not as good as Trebor's stuff... but more how to beat MM info lives here: http://www.atari7800forever.com/mmc.html

Did anybody else get the urge to play this after hearing about The Munsters movie that came out? Happy Halloween stay out of plasmic pumpkins!
