FUBARofPittsburgh
A big factor for me buying a Wii U was Nintendo's Virtual Console, that makes loads of retro games available to play. What games do you wish would be released for it? I for one would love to see Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti on it!

Along the same lines, I would love an official localization of Sweet Home for the VC. Addendum: CLOCK TOWER! CatPix
Being able to play FDS games with english localization, including games that were ported on cart here liek the Zelda and Castlevania series. English text but no censorship. Also, to see VB games on the 3D that will recreate the 3D effect.

7800fan
Virtualboy games. It's already made for 3D game play. Wario Land, Virtual Space Invaders, many games that are worth playing but not the price. A working VB system can set you back as much as $100, and it will break very easily. The design flaw is in how the flex cable is attached to LED board, nothing to keep it from separating and causing problem. Some of the good games are already expensive so getting VB set is an expensive hobby. So how about ALL VB games? There's only 14 games released in USA and a few more Japanese exclusive so it won't be many games that needs re-coding to work on 3DS hardware and use 3DS' 3D display.

If Nintendo were to re-release the Virtual Boy games on the 3DS, they would likely have to be redone from scratch, and they would be done in full color. But I can't imagine Nintendo trying to capitalize on the software of one of their worst commercial failures. Except maybe for the Wario title...

I don't think they can release all of them. I know that SD Gundam for the VB has the same licensing issues that pretty much all Gundam games have. CatPix
Even if not all of them; WarioLand is pretty awesome by itself and is worth releasing. The level design was interesting with the foreground/background idea, and the game was fun overall.
FUBARofPittsburgh
Great pick! Along the same lines, I would love an official localization of Sweet Home for the VC. Addendum: CLOCK TOWER! Being able to play a legit translation of Sweet Home would be awesome! The VC needs more classic RPGs.

The system should be powerful enough to emulate the Virtual Boy. The VB has enough of a following that in sure they'd turn a profit on releases for the Virtual Console. tpugmire
I just wish that everything on the Wii virtual console was available on the Wii U virtual console. No reason not to be.

You're saying something in the vein of what I'd like to say. Before I see them release any new games for this, I want a better Service, because what they offer is pretty much bullshit. If they were to release some collections, like 2 or 3 oldschool games in a cartridge for 20 bucs I'd be all over that. Or if they at least had a decent account System. As is I just avoid their digital stuff.

Yeah, that's real weird and annoying. I have to switch over to the Wii menu to play Final Fantasy and Splatterhouse. WTF?
FUBARofPittsburgh
Can't believe I forgot to mention Friday The 13th and Nightmare On Elm Street. Highly doubt it would happen, but a fool can dream.
