TheGrandPubaa
I've seen a couple different tape decks on eBay and i'm not sure which is the proper one to use for the CoCo, but in any event, I was hoping to acquire a cheap deck with the audio cables, say the $20 range if possible. I have exactly one cassette game that it took me weeks to track down and I am hoping that my girlfriend will actually be able to play it on her CoCo on Xmas if she wants to open the package. charliecron
I think you can use any tape deck ... or any device that can play a wav of the cassette..
Bill Loguidice
If you're really stuck for a cassette cable, this guy has some: http://thecocolounge.com/ It's a fairly universal type. And yes, any decent cassette deck will work, as will other sources that can output the right signals (PC, smart device, etc.).
+stupus
Here is a cable on ebay that says it's tested and decent price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cassette-Recorder-Interface-Cable-For-TRS80-CoCo-Mod-I-Mod-III-Mod-4-/331710758126?hash=item4d3b807cee:g:rvQAAOSwstxVeNoW There are also a couple cassette players on ebay for like 30-40 with make an offer that look decent. Good luck getting your game working for Christmas!
