Decoding Basic Source Code from Cartridge Binaries

Recommended Posts

To me it reveals that TI BASIC was designed to be extendable but for a special "in the know" set of people.

It's a shame tools were not sold to allow us "great unwashed" to extend the language for our own needs ... and so forth.

(the "double entendre" is free)  :)

As BASIC is entirely written in GPL this is what makes it as good as it is.

Many of the extensions I wrote for RXB would pretty easy be included to TI BASIC.

Also, this would not be an emulation but true extensions in GPL that TI BASIC is entirely written into work.

I did a research in the Cyc. The Subprograms with a special char in the PRK/Statistics module were discovered by Jan Alexandersson from Sweden.

Yes, Jan spent quite a lot of time on that, when he was active with the TI 99. He's not any longer. I actually have his hardware.
