Opry99er
The TI-99/4A has a very good Hunt the Wumpus game cartridge... The way the paths appear in AD&D and the way the character moves reminds me alot of that particular game. Looking forward to beating this game on the easiest level... Then maybe going up from there. intvnut
Sure enough, it looks like the game designer was definitely inspired by AD&D CM: I wonder if anything is randomized, or if it's like most video games and it's all static. Oh wow... most of the same maze shapes are there too.... the stomach, the uterus, the movie-projector, the muffler, the drain-trap... They seemed to add islands in the middle of the larger shapes, though. Ok, I take that back, I didn't actually see the movie-projector. The sound effects and music in that game were an assault on my ears, though. EDIT: These are the shapes I was referring to above. The Stomach: (although it looks more like a stomach when the entrance on the left curves in from the top) The Uterus: The Movie Projector: (Hey, these are names that 8 year olds came up with.) The Muffler: The Drain-Trap: (there are some other configurations that scream "drain trap" even better.) That one probably came after my brother and I had gone through "health class" in middle school. So, 12 or 13 years old? Still... when you have AD&D Cloudy Mountain and Microsurgeon and an imagination... Edited December 28, 2015 by intvnut

Heck... my brother and I called the spinners in Astrosmash "Cheerios." We weren't exactly the best at naming things. In 1983, he was 6 and I was 8. Black_Tiger
Cloudy Mountain was my favorite game until we got Treasure of Tarmin. The game holds up so well to this day and is still scary when you can here an enemy but can't see them yet, or risk firing an arrow into the darkness. goriddle
AD&d is definitely ranks high up there with my favorite intellivision games. It is is very fast paced for intellivision. If you are a fan of colecovision, Gateway to Apshai has a similar style and is also a lot of fun.
IMBerzerk
I always hoped someone would do an indie release of an AD&D sequal, maybe with different monsters (larger ones) that breath fire, spit venom, skeletons.. etc.. but all using the same look as the original.

In for one! New monsters and maybe some tweaks to the outer frame screen when your not in the mountains. This game would be a great candidate for a retro remix.
