rxd
This has got to be the worst controlled game I've ever played. the freaking motion controls sucks balls in this game.
moycon
I never played it with the motion control. I thought it was a pretty cool game. Different for sure.
rxd
I'm trying to use my controller. This thing is horrible. Press this while pressing that while shaking everything and it doesn't work. this garbage is fun?
+save2600
Had to YouTube this one... where'd you get the idea the game was any fun?

Hyperboy
I liked it, pretty damn good in my opinion. Again, my opinion.
Lost Dragon
I've been a huge fan of David Cages work since i picked up The Nomad Soul on the Dreamcast, all those years ago, then onto to Fahrenheit on Xbox, Heavy Rain and Beyond:2 Souls on PS3, but i appreciate his work is an aquired taste. The 2 big issues i had with Heavy Rain getting Move support were: 1)It came at the expense of the planned extra 'chapters'/DLC...Sony insisted on Move Support so DLC was dropped :-( And 2)Despite not owning Move i had to sit through a bloody patch for it to be downloaded for the game, you couldn't just download it, if you ticked a box etc.
rxd
I wonder if something is wrong with my controller. I seem to get stuck on the parts where you have to shake it. I've never played a PS3 game where I needed to move the controller...
Gamemoose
I enjoyed the game for what it was. It had a bit more impact to me as I am a parent.

It was emotional at times and I can definitely say that it would not have been to the degree it was if I were not a parent.
rxd
I liked the story but the crazy button combinations and controller shaking was annoying. I finished it. I wonder if it's better with the move or not. I have one but never hooked it up.
Two-in-the-Belfry
There are so many problems with Heavy Rain. The controls, the lack of gameplay aside from QTE (which isn't a bad thing when done right - I think Until Dawn is wonderful), the voice acting that ranges from good to horrible, and the gaping plot holes in the story make it hard to really enjoy it. But it did give us this.
Deep_wolf
You what makes the game even worse? Trying to get all trophies. First my playthrough I quite liked the game. When I got platinum, my score from 8/10 gone to 2/10. Cage become more and more lazy with new games...no wonder they suck.
glazball
I'm not sure I understand the hatred. I had no problems with the game and I thought it was pretty darn unique and captivating. Certainly more so than Call of Duty or other regurgitated garbage. Also, I played it before it was patched for Move support, but I was never big on the PS Move to begin with. Beyond: Two Souls was the last game I played on PS3 before moving up to PS4 and I found it pretty incredible also. I'm happy to buy anything Quantic Dream comes up with in the future. +wongojack
I thought it felt like a nice experiment. It left me wishing that they would buy licenses for hit shows and make those into games. I don't remember any problems with the controls, but there were some plot holes in the story that I thought would have been very easy to close. I would have rather played a game like it based on something like the TV show Dexter. (X-Files!?) I have Beyond, but haven't played it yet - in the queue
Deep_wolf
I have Beyond, but haven't played it yet - in the queue You not gonna love it, believe me. I beat the game (of should I say, watched the movie) and "it's doesn't plays like a game and certainly feels like a movie" © Rolfe.
+wongojack
Well, I did enjoy Heavy Rain, so I think I will at least like it . . .
+wongojack
I finally played Beyond and I thought it was amazing. It is much better than Heavy Rain and a truly unique and successful experiment with interactive storytelling. Beyond was like getting a whole season of a Sci-Fi/Spy series that you could interact with. I highly recommend it if you like similar TV shows, but if you want to shoot people with shotguns in the face, you should stay away.

If these are anything like Until Dawn, I'm in. Although that's a throwback type of horror game aka Friday the 13th etc.
