Right handed only. right handed bowling. i had to use my laptop to show you cause it is hard to try to hit record to make a video with my phone while playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeraM6JVge8
+nurmix
right handed bowling. i had to use my laptop to show you cause it is hard to try to hit record to make a video with my phone while playing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeraM6JVge8 Well done. I don't actually know if others with high scores are doing the left handed method... it's easier to be consistent since two of the variables - position and curve - are more or less constants (although if you hold Aim too long you have to alter curve) but that's my guess. Opry99er
I also bowl using a right-handed bowler. Perhaps that is why I have not peaked yet. I tried the left handed bowler thing, but it feels very unnatural.
+fdr4prez
Hey now, I've been left handed my whole life!!! I'm not unnatural. Just unseemly at times

ZillaRUSH
I also use the left handed, 16 lbs, 0 slickness, bowler up top all the way and after release hit 12 o'clock. Tough to master the magic touch every time...dont have the skills yet. Gets me a decent score.
pimpmaul69
Heck, I'd get monogrammed shirt of that and I'm not even playing! here is the original intellivision sized clear bitmap so it can be resized to any size. i also fixed the "i" which is messed up in other pic starstrikes.bmp
wolfy62
i made an intellivised version of your team photo. starstrikes2.jpg Can you make that shirt, or should I ask M. Thompson to do it? I totally want one!!!
wolfy62
So all you 300 bowlers... I'm guessing you mastered the left handed, 16 LB ball, zero slickness, move all the way to the top, just barely press and release Aim, then 6 c'clock curve method? Uh oh... Did I just do a 'talk about Fight Club'? I knew we should have never let you into the league!

pimpmaul69
Hey now, I've been left handed my whole life!!! I'm not unnatural. Just unseemly at times 90% of left handed people are twins. They also have a theory now that more people have twins but one kills off the other and thats possibly how they have some people that are left handed without a twin. so maybe you are unnatural. +fdr4prez
We might have to find a way to make this harder OK - blind folded bowling
Intellfan
I am a lefty too ,living in a right handed world .
+fdr4prez
You should have seen me on Saturday using my little electric chainsaw with my arms crossed. More lefties are killed using tools designed for a right handed world.
+nurmix
I'm right handed, but I bat LEFT, play hockey LEFT, and [back when I used to do such things], ride a skateboard 'goofy foot'. So there you have it. Not quite sure there's a point here. Just thought I'd join in the lefty talk. While I'm at it, my [video game hating and semi-frequent contributor to the podcast] WIFE is left handed. And she can't bat, play hockey or ride a skateboard. SiLic0ne t0aD
Hmm.. I might be an odd-ball too. I write left handed, bowl right handed, skateboard regular stance, bat right handed, play guitar right handed, prefer playing video games with joystick on left side (left-handed like NG controller) a little ambidextrous on some things Edited January 26, 2016 by SiLic0ne t0aD85
pimpmaul69
Intellivision bowling is actually partial to right handed bowling. If you do the exact same bowl between left and right, the right handed bowler makes a better shot. Same shots are not on same markers (mirrored) however. Nutsy Doodleheimer
For me I write right handed and throw right handed. But I'm a lefty when batting in baseball, my shooting hand in hockey is lefty, I eat left handed, and guitar playing is righty. So I'm an ambidextrous individual as well. +fdr4prez
the normal definition of ambidextrous is the ability to use both hands equally well for all tasks. I think we are all cross-dominant. From Wikipedia: Cross-dominance or Mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks. This is common in the population with about a 30% prevalence Ambidexterity is exceptionally rare, although it can be learned. A truly ambidextrous person is able to do any task equally well with either hand. Those who learn it still tend to favor their originally dominant hand https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handedness
mthompson
Yep, count me in with the mixed-handedness bunch (write left, throw right, and so forth). The power tool thing is a major pain. Fellow lefties: splurge sometime and get some left-handed scissors. Best gift I ever got. BTW, pimpmaul69 enhanced the Star Strikes shirt artwork, so the link above is no longer valid. Please use the one in my signature line instead.
