Rhomaios
Hey guys, I not that long ago (1 year ago? maybe 2?) I had my 7800 modded by Electronic Sentimentalities for s-video output. Now, however, the sound on it seems to be going out. It seems very uneven, and music is hard to hear, while sounds pop and come and go. Any idea and what the best course of action for me to do is? I don't know if ES's mod is related (doubtful, but I'm no expert), but I thought I'd mention just in case.
Dauber
Could be a loose solder connection on the audio port. I did the 7800 mod on my machine myself and for some reason the audio outs were a challenge to get a good solder connection.
Rhomaios
Could be a loose solder connection on the audio port. I did the 7800 mod on my machine myself and for some reason the audio outs were a challenge to get a good solder connection. So is that easily fixable then? I don't have soldering skills, and I'd rather not mess it up further. Is there a way I can check to see if it's a bad connection or some other problem?
