Here is a zip file of hi res TIF images scanned from the pages of
Chicago TImes of March 1988
for you to read, pdf, ocr, print or add to an archive such as WHT.

This issue also reached me (in June 1988!) after postal damage and delay and has been cleaned up and partially recreated.  The outer cover is blue with white pages inside. Size is A5, 24 pages.
Seven pages are Geneve support, and there are 4 pages of SPAD walkthrough (a Not Polyoptics flying program) and 4 pages of Graphics notes- part 3- with an emphasis on CSGD and RLE and TI Artist compatibility.

Here is part one of two, a zip of hi res TIF images scanned from the pages of the UK User Group:

TI*MES UK Issue 23- part one - file dated Feb89 but received very close to issue 22 which was due Oct88 but received Jan89, so date of 23 amended to avoid confusion....  publication dates slipped somewhat.

Issue 23  has content appropriate to both Halloween and Christmas...

Part 2 will follow together with the usual detailed pdf of contents in a few days.  After that, back to TI Lines.

Here is a zip of hi res clean TIF scans from Peter Brooks UK magazine:
TILINES UK V4 N1 June 1987

for you to read, print, ocr, pdf or save to an artchive of your choice (eg WHT).
32 pages, white paper, A5 size.
Contents include sorting in assembly for Ex Bas (32k required) from TINS, possibly by John Clulow; shuffling values in Basic; article on Logo and recursion; Darwinian approach to pseudorandom text generation; and a lengthy article on XMODEM protocols and CRC16.

Peter had severe problems with post from Oxford and many copies of V4N2 disappeared, so my next scan will be V4N3...  (anyone have V4N2?).  bb

Here is a zip of hi res clean TIF scans from Peter Brooks UK magazine:
TILINES UK V4 N3 August 1987

(No issue 2 here- Peter suffered from frequent local postal strikes and even a batch of mail that went up in flames... so if anyone else has TI Lines V4 N2 July 87 please scan it or loan/donate  it!)

Here is N3 for you to read, print, ocr, pdf or save to an archive of your choice (eg WHT).
32 pages, white paper, A5 size.
Contents are mostly an up to date index of TILINES articles, with the very important list of where to find the corrections (errata) for many items.  A useful resource when reading these older magazines - there were quite a lot of vital corrections.
The other rather smaller content is a Multiplan Tutorial by Brenda Noell, Chapter 5-splitting windows and copying formulae.  And Chapter 6: Printing a worksheet.

Here is a zip of hi res clean TIF scans from Peter Brooks UK magazine:TILINES UK V4 N4 September  1987
for you to read, print, ocr, pdf or save to an archive of your choice (eg WHT).
32 pages, white paper, A5 size.

Contents are mostly a large number of rather poor images of TI Users getting together at Bloxwich. The chequerboard pattern evident is on the original magazine and not from the hi res scan.
Other contents include-
A games listing of HANGMAN by Mike Warren for tib/xb (the scan includes later corrections); a number puzzle and a hint on handling very large numbers; short adventure hints; a brief book collection for TI owners (mostly ignoring UK published books even though written by a UK resident...).

Here is a zip of hi res clean TIF scans from Peter Brooks UK magazine:  TI-LINES UK V4 N6 November 1987
for you to read, print, ocr, pdf or save to an archive of your choice (eg WHT).
32 pages, white paper, A5 size.

Contents are mostly a couple of hardware projects- connect a serial printer to the joystick port or connect a centronics printer to the joystick port, together with assembly driver routines for the mini memory (so you will only have access to your printer from basic!). Project from Bill Reed.
Plus: How to implement an equivelent of ON X GOSUB using TI Forth by John Roe.
And an article demonstrating why buying a really cheap Rotronics printer from a none-TI retailer can cost a lot more the buying a TI Printer...

Coming next- back to Chicago TImes.

It has been a while since we had some "new" game docs on here. This is one that I discovered in the atariage thread "Eye Candy" posted by dhe back on 19/12/21 - post no 55.

I have corrected the photo distortion and brightened it up a bit.

Quite an old program from Pewterware- Bluegrass Sweepstakes.

Here is part one of two, a zip of hi res TIF images scanned from the pages of the UK User Group:

TI*MES UK Issue 38 - Autumn 1992 - part one -
80 pages!

Part 2 will follow together with the usual detailed pdf of contents in a few days.  After that, back to TI Lines.

(Incidentally there are so few downloads of the contents pdf- does anyone need a copy in a different format? Pure text?  Doc? Docx? html? sxw? pdb? epub...  I could probably manage TI d/v80 at a pinch but it really wouldn't help much!)

[The content pdf will include an embedded OpenDocument document.]

Ecco la prima parte delle due, un zip di immagini TIF ad alta risoluzione scansionate dalle pagine del UK User Group:

TI*MES UK Edizione 38 - Autunno 1992 - prima parte -
80 pagine!

Seguirà tra qualche giorno la parte 2 insieme al consueto pdf dettagliato dei contenuti. Dopodiché, torna a TI Lines.

@blackbox

I really happy with the TIF pages as you already publishing.
I still don't download the things you publish here because of my logistical issues and also I still not clicking on the thanks button to keep in mind myself what I have to download yet ?

thanks for all your effort :)
