Milli V
Does anyone know if you can return information from a USR or Call routine without poking it into a memory location? Some Basic dialects will return the value in the A register or similar when you return from the ML routine. Milli

NIAD
Not completely sure, but more than likely you will have to POKE the info into memory first as SB is a pretty simple interpreter that doesn't ease the task of accessing ML. Most SB programmers would create ML routines and then convert them to DATA that would be POKEd into a memory location with a FOR-NEXT loop and then called within a program to execute. Check on the Nibbles & Bits PDFed newsletters on Joe Blenkle's website for some good basic programming workshops with ML examples.
