Coleco Telstar Alpha problem

I posted this also in the Pong forum, but I thought I could probably get more help here. The dials on the system are jittery. Can I fix this the same way I would fix Atari VCS paddle controllers? Thanx

I can't guarentee it, but I kind of think it should be fine. I've got some really wierd paddle controller things from an old CommodorePlus4 or something and they have wierd guts in them, nothing like the Atari 2600 paddles, but they seemed to work. I figure all those paddle thing work under the same principal of resistance.

 

I actually have a coleco telstar (the mongomery ward world of sports version) and I've had it completely torn apart, there is almost nothing in them...

 

I'd say, try a very small spray and test, just don't overdo it.

 

But like I said above, I can't guarentee ANYTHING.
