rapoza609
I'm going for a complete in box Intellivision collection. I stand at about 105 now but I'm trying to figure out exactly how many releases there were. I've heard 135 to 155. Does anyone know if that includes the Sears releases or not? I'm assuming the box variations for a few of the common titles don't count. Anyone have an idea of anew accurate figure I can go by?

There is about half that in homebrew games.
rapoza609
Does that count the Sears games? Are those just considered label variations?
pimpmaul69
Does that count the Sears games? Are those just considered label variations?all they are is box and manual variants. Carts and overlays are identical
+BBWW
Gonna be hard to say complete now that I'm there. I think I will abandon all variants except trying to complete my "Sealed - Shrink-Wrapped" collection. So advice if you are going for original 125 PLUS all the home-brews. Stay current on the home brew collection. A two year old release can be double the cost it was when it was first released. Sometimes that happens in 6 months to a year. So even though it may seem tough to buy EVERYTHING, remember for the most part the price will go up on the home-brews before they fall... I have a few extra of the hard to find 125's CIB. I will post them someday.
rapoza609
I think I'm just going to stick with original releases when factoring in whether my collection is "complete". I mean, I'd love to grabe some homebrew but I'm going to try and save my money for some of the expensive original releases. SPIKER isn't going to be cheap!

JasonlikesINTV
This is a good place to start: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/214218-cmarts-original-125-checklist/ There were 125 officially released titles, not including packaging variants. Included are Mattel's games organized into various "Networks", 3rd party releases from Activision, Imagic, etc, the "1983" releases and the INTV Corp releases in the latter 80s. 29 of the 125 were sold by Sears with unique packaging as Super Video Arcade games, but the ROMs were the same as the Mattel versions so they are just considered variants. There are also numerous foreign market variants. The typical 125 collection could include any versions of each game, but some collectors are more picky (or completist). For instance, BBWW collects sealed copies. I have all USA gatefolds for my Mattel portion of the 125. Just up to your personal preference. I'm guessing your "135-155" number includes "homebrews" and not variations of the original 125. Edit: Maybe I should ask, where did the "135-155" number come from? +SoulBuster
There are currently 48 Homebrews, not counting variations. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/241391-official-list-of-homebrew-games-released-post-125/page-1?hl=+homebrew Edited March 4, 2016 by SoulBuster

+BBWW
48 - 2 equals 46? but then...? I'm so unenlightened! Please don't make me count my home-brews. LOL I know I missed something! +BBWW
Yes, I did not count variations unless we count Donkey Kong, DK Arcade and DK arcade as variations. Intelligentvision: 22 Electronite: 10 Good Deal Games: 1 BBWW: 1 IntellivisionRevolution: 10 LTO: 3 Collector vision: 4 That equals 51 what am I missing. Minus 1 if you take off Intelligentvision's 4-Tris. Minus one if you take off IntellivisonRevolutions Mouse Trap. So 49?
+cmart604
Lol. I just threw out a random number to see if panic would ensue.
+cmart604
There are a few variations though which take that number higher for my personal list
