SNES System, Black and White only. (Two Questions)

I picked up a very cheap SNES console at a yard sale, when fired up the game looked great for a few minutes then the color went to black and white only and it's been this way ever since.

 

I don't think I can do anything with the system because it's all rivited together and there are no actual screws in it...

 

Question 1:

Any idea why the black and white, seems really wierd.

 

Question 2:

Is there any way for a regular old Joe Schmoe like me to get these funny NES rivet things apart without just beating the SNES to pieces with a hammer???

1. Are you using A/V or RF?

 

2. You've got two ways to do this. One is to buy the security bit and the other is to use a deep well socket. I don't remember what size I used but the socket will work fine if you take your time with it.
