I had a look at Protector II (and the first one) but couldn't figure them out and there may be a few OS issues. Drelbs is a quality game but soon gets tricky - If anyone can complete the skill level then there will be a bonus point or two. Play on Novice: Start the game then press Option and then Select to set skill level - I can't remember if it defaults to novice! Make all the boxes you can then jump in to save the girl! Download Fandal XEX (OS patched) Info here or Atarimania or P Scoring HSC standard based on level reached then score. The squares change colour to indicate the level: 1. Saphire (Blue) 2. Ruby (Red/Purple on PAL! - has 2 troll heads) 3. Emerald (Green!) 4. Topaz (Brown) 5. Peridot (Brown & Grey) 6. Agate (Green II) 7. Amethyst (Red & purple) Bonus point for new HSC record [trbb 46,800] Bonus Game I picked Collapse, you've probably not heard of it, it's more relaxing after the sheer manicness of Drelbs - the other box games are probably good for a later round. First understand the controls - best to read the short 1 page instructions on Atarimania Press 1 to Start the game. You have 2 states: When yellow - You can walk around and jump. You need to touch all the solid grey bars to turn them blue, then they can be collapsed to complete the level (pull down on the bars you walk over). To turn red hold fire and keep it held, then you can draw or destroy lines or collapse the solid lines - try and push one onto another to create a chain. Release fire to: walk through the air, pull down to drop some bees (yes making it up again) To climb: hold fire, push up to draw a platform, keep up held, release fire and hold again. Just fall off or jump to turn yellow again. Ignore the baddies until you have figured it out, thought they do drain your time so stay away from the top corners! Powerups give you more time (and score). Wait till girl appear and avoid the face / bullet in the meantime 3. Repeat + collect hearts and diamonds (and try to avoid finishing the level) Score after first run: 36650 Collapse This one is a little bit confusing, but still I'm going to give it a try. It doesn't show high score after the game over screen. Play it on a regular base and I have always a nice result around 40k points... But I never completed it. Your first attempt is around 30k and within 48 hours you complete the game? So right now it goes like that 1. Stay on level 1 as long as possible, collect "girls" and hearts and avoid enemies 2. Collect points and extra lives on level one (slow enemies, only one face instead of two) 3. If you collect enough points and extra lives, then play rest of the levels as quick as possible, ignore extra points, etc. 4. Congratulations, you've finished the game By the way. I used to play Drelbs a lot during last couple of years. The reason I didn't choose it in the poll is simple - I wanted to try something new, something I haven't played yet and something I suck at so I could improve in another game. After you finish all levels, or on a certain amount of points, or is it when you have collected enough hearts? You need to finish all 7 levels. To complete the level free all the Drelbs by booting them off the 2nd screen, to get to this screen you need to make all possible boxes on the first screen and jump in when the portal window is next to you. THE TILE COLOUR INDICATES LEVEL. 54,230 on this evenings session; I reached the 2nd Green screen which I think was level 6, the one before had brown and grey and a full screen of Drelbs to clear Points will count but level will count first, everyone should have a shot at beating the first level Well done DOPE I guess it ended so you can now play on the next difficulty level - there are a few - press Option then Select in game to set this, then Start. After a 50 and 59K go I managed to get to the last level for the first time 61,800 (red/purple tiles) - if you just go for completing the levels you get an extra man after each one. Drelbs Hints: First screens build big blocks try and leave some access routes - lure the trolls around to finish off and try and pick a portal that you have time to wait for. Block off the shots by straightening any walls to protect you On the 2nd "Drelb flinging" screens, get as many as you can then lure them away to get the final few. @Trbb, what going on with current standing table Oh yes that's what I was going to do... !
