Guest LiqMat
I can only imagine what the final price on this will be. I am thinking on the edge of ridiculous with a dash of WTF when the final bid price rolls in. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?itemid=28595572

I was thinking the same thing, but good for collectors. Even at 1203 that's about 35-36 a piece so not bad if you are a collector. I think 34 are sealed and 3 are not. Some of the sports titles are almost worthless even sealed though. Edited March 28, 2016 by LiqMat

Guest LiqMat
I think Phantasy Star IV sealed is a high price item. Is it me or does some of the box art look sun faded to you? Edited March 28, 2016 by LiqMat
0078265317
Well back in the day it would of costed you 50 x 37 = 1850. So 1203 is a steal.

You know though lots of those were useless sports titles and the cardboard ones retain less value than hard boxes. It did look a bit sun faded but to be fair I have never really seen a goodwill auction that benefits the buyer especially in the past couple of years. I have a mint condition slide off top cardboard box versions of Double Dragon and the original Hardball which I find very appealing, but the more common flap ends cardboard boxes always seem to weather poorly over time with their much thinner cardboard. Speaking of Goodwill this went fairly cheap for the rarity of the title, but for some reason I just don't have any desire to own this, ever. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=28620902 Edited March 31, 2016 by LiqMat
Professor Gull
http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=28620902 You know I have never actually seen the Piano controller in person but the game I have seen sitting the the local store retro case. Yeah no desire here either. I stopped shopping on Goodwill it got too pricey.
+save2600
Think somebody got a hold of a shrink-wrap machine? Even if they're legitimately brand new, $35 avg. each? WTF?!

Professor Gull
Really a Game Gear? Well good for a sealed collector since it might not even power up at this point so I guess it can be a nice box on the shelf?

Professor Gull
Why would it not power up if its brand new? I would still question how the capacitors might hold up I guess. Being never turned on though you make a valid point cause it should work. Still seems ridiculous to pay that much for one to me anyhow. The original Xbox has a clock capacitor as some call it that has a tendency to leak and either should be cut out or replaced. So the few new and sealed original Xbox units floating in the wild may in fact be leaking without ever being used. Just because it's sealed doesn't mean the caps stayed that way for sure.

The presence of Ballz 3d alone means they'd have to give me a couple of hundred dollars. There are a couple of nice ones in there, but even at half the price that went for it's extravagant.
