Best C64 emulator for Android?

VICE for Vic 20 and C64 are nearly unusable. Their interface is just terrible. Tries way too hard to cover every single hardware feature for the two, but gives you a huge barrier to use it.

 

All other emuators I see for C64 are paid. So which one with a decent interface is worth my 3 dollars in Google credit?

Frodo C64 worked well for me but I haven't used it in about a year so I don't know if it is still good. It looks like it's still free.

I have all his other emulators, and had this "wish listed" for a long time because I don't really have c64 nostalgia. I think it's time to change that and get more familiar with the charms of this machine.

I copied some Vic 20 games to my sd card, so I fired up the Vic 20 vice emulator. I'll just point to the roms(cartridges) folder, right? wrong. It wants me to type in a full path. That's doing things the hard way.

I've been using Frodo C64 for years and it works fine. Base code is very stable as has not changed in 5 years. Just a required Marshmallow JNI requirement was done 3 years ago.
