etownandy
I've been using TI Image Tool to manipulate disk images, and love it. So simple to use! However, there are a large number of Geneve programs I'd like to use, and they're on WHTECH as ARK files. Is there a good way to extract these with a similar tool? I already know I can use TIIT to create a blank disk, move the ARK file there, run emulation, run Archiver, and un-ark the files, but is there a tool that will do this OUTSIDE of running an emulated session? Asmusr
I think TI99Dir can open ARK files.
+mizapf
TIImageTool can open ARK files, treating them like directories.
+arcadeshopper
both tools open them like directories
etownandy
Well, I tried ImageTool before I posted, and I get "Unknown format or image corrupted." Does the ARK file first have to be on a TI Disk volume file (DSK file)? These were just downloaded directly as ARKs.
etownandy
Stupid me...instead of just ASKING, I could TRY adding the ARK to an empty image. And of course, that works just fine. I hadn't thought of trying it that way. Thanks for the help, all.
+mizapf
For some particular reason, I named the tool TI-Image-Tool. :-)
