JohnPCAE
I'd still like to know which Inty versions will work with this. Will an unmodded Inty 1 work, or will it require an Inty II or a modded Inty 1?
opcode
The hardware guy is working on that. But we haven't tested yet, until I go to Brazil in a few weeks. He hasn't raised any concerns though, so I am assuming all is well.

atari5200dude82
Very cool indeed. Still need to subsribe. I voted for intv2 style, But like the Intv 1 as well. Torn between the both. Only can afford one.

opcode
Will you be able to test it for PAL units a well? Probably that will require some external help, but we will make sure we will. 80 modules so far, almost evenly distributed. Not bad at all.

Kiwi
There's a maximum of 8 8-pixels wide single colored sprites on a screen on the Intellivision. With sprites at that detail will quickly run out of sprites. Syndey for example, the main character is made up with 6 sprites, with 2 sprites dedicated for the hazards. Multiplexing sprite with flickering, which is possible with sprites at that detail. Is there additional hardware in the IntelliXpander that help bypass that limit? Yes, a brand new video chip roughly based on the proposed Intv III.
Kiwi
Yes, a brand new video chip roughly based on the proposed Intv III. Awesome dude! I did read about Intv III system and what is it going to have. That sounds cool!
atari5200dude82
Thats awesome Just curious. It is going to have a built in intellivoice like the intv system 3 was going to have.

That made sense for the Intv 3 because it was backward compatible. We are an add on. That said, we have voice, but it isn't the same as intellivoice. It is more like intellivoice 2.0 and very neatly implemented by our hardware guy.
CatPix
As long as its compatible, it's good Iguess. More clarity would really help. I read that it's the some chip than in the O2. Just amazing how better The Voice! sounds; I guess it's because most phoneme were stored in the Voice itself, but not on the Intellivoice? Tho with a differen chip or just more space on the cart, it would sounds better.
