I'd like to ask: How hard would it be to port games made for Atari 2600 to Atari 8-bit computers? To my mind it really depends on the 2600 title in question and the degree to which it is pushing the h/w. To a degree you can simulate the same things on the XL but certain h/w effects can need to end up being approached a different way. This may move the 'kernel' programming approach to something more akin to something 8-bit orientated (VBI+DLI) or a mix of both. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
