CPUWIZ
If anyone cares to archive any of it... http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=152066997238&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565 My bid didn't even register. I only wanted to pay $1000 for the box, because of the condition.
Rick Weis
if I didn't have the box, I would have paid a lot more then that! I think that was a pretty good deal. IMO Congrats to who ever won it! Rick
atari181
Yeah, my bid didn't register either. I thought I was going to be able to snipe it, but apparently so did everyone else.
Trade-N-Games
I had $1400 bid on it. That was max in that condition but really $2000 would be my max if nicer. Funny that the new one is still parked on Ebay for what seems years now cause its overpriced by thousands. Poor investors!
roadrunner
Surprised it didn't end early, musta been alot of watchers on it.

atari181
Interesting on the bid retraction by one of the members here. Really not that surprising. Knowing her as I do, she usually bids early and judges interest in an item before sniping it. She probably figured there wasn't much interest seeing how it didn't get past the opening bid until very late in the auction.
Captain_Combat
Just to let you girls/guys know i picked up the title, a couple of months ago i made an offer for the new in box one very close to the mid 4k range & believe it or not the seller turned me down. It took me a while to learn but when collecting for the 2600 when you see a rare title you have to go for it or you may never see it again....you can get away with being nonchalant collecting nintendo because nothings that crazy rare like atari.

I thought it to be very strange.

Cool, I would consider flattening the box and leaving it under two slabs of marble or something like that, for a while.

Your serious can i correct that side indention that way? This will not destroy the box?
CPUWIZ
If the box is not glued on the bottom, it should cause no harm. But you need to use something that won't stick to the box (wood, cardboard etc.). All of our homebrew boxes live under two slabs of marble, before they are assembled, it helps with the glue. Thanks i'll check the box out when i receive it... i may try it but i'm kind of scared, first i'll test it out on maybe a combat box. Yep, practice on something crap. Also, you need to take a look at how the box is printed and wether or not the color flakes off. I would not do this with a Tigervision box for instance. Keatah
1600 was a steal here. I have a buyer that wants one and has a 2500 target price.
icemanxp300
If you are real "chancing" pop that box under an iron LOL https://m.reddit.com/r/gamecollecting/comments/37e7wo/video_showing_how_to_repair_warped_boxes_anyone/

Did it right on top of my washing machine after a trial run with raiders of the lost ark box, however i did not press my luck with the back side.
