jose
Hey, guys. I'm brand new here and am interested in learning the art of hacking. I don't have any kind of programming experience, but I do have time and patience. If somebody could let me know the best way to get my feet wet, it would be great. Thanks. King Atari
Download Hack-O-Matic, pick a game you want to change, then it's as easy as point and click! No knowledge (except of what you want to change) involved! I'm not sure where to download it, someone probably has a link.

Greg Zumwalt
Easier still, get VaderMatic: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...ight=vadermatic It uses Hack-O-Matic now, but it sets up the rom for you, and uses one of the easiest to hack roms, Space Invaders. While HOM is super easy, it can still be a challenge to find a roms graphics. Using VaderMatic (a PC tool) you don't have to find the graphics. If you are truely green to the sceen, this will help. Blackbird
And if you want, you can hack other ROMs from other systems with Hack-o-Matic. Why, just a little while back I was changing the graphics on an old Fairchild Channel F game...
