Bill Lange
Does anyone have an .atr of Atari Music Composer music files? It doesn't matter what the music is. Regards, Bill
+CharlieChaplin
Hmmm, hopefully this ATR does contain Music Composer files (I renamed them all to *.AMC, still I am unsure if they really are Music Composer files). There is also a player program SYN.COM on the disk, but it does not display a directory, so you have to remember all the filenames, e.g. Starwars.AMC... When using the DOS on the disk, type LOA Filename.EXT to load the .COM file; use TYP Filename.EXT to display a file as text (looks like all .AMC files do have an inverse star and inverse heart as a header). In the player program SYN.COM use "R"etrieve to load a file, e.g. D:Starwars.AMC, then use "L"isten to listen to the tune... Bill Lange
Here is an .atr with one Music Composer file, Row Row Row Your Boat, entered from the Music Composer manual. Boot your emulator with the Music Composer cartridge inserted and the .atr mounted in drive 1. From the main menu, R, D1:RRRYB.MUS, E, S, L.
