Hello,

I´m trying to list all the places you can still buy phisical versions of Vectrex games. Is there any other seller / distributer to add to the list?

Thanks!

I am new to the Vectrex and was hoping to get some copies of Vectrexians and Vector Pilot! Unfortunately I cannot reach Kristof Tuts' website using this link after multiple attempts on different days (?). :( Does anyone know if his website has moved elsewhere or if there is another way to contact him to get these games? Thanks for your thoughts!

I guess that has to do with your Firewall or other kind of protection software as that URL often triggers some security alerts. Link still works fine for me.

Well, where do we start there? :P

I guess it really depends what sort of genres you like. Now obviously the Vectrex isn't going to have some game types, as you can probably guess!

But if I was to name five games that any Vectrex owner should have in their collection, I would likely list Protector, Vector Pilot, Vectrexagon, Thrust, and Star Sling. By the end of next year, this list might change, as we are due Robot Arena (albeit only on VecFever), and Vector Patrol is just about to be made available for purchase.

Another new game from PhOBoZ, this time it's the (unofficial) sequel to Minestorm.

However, MineX is a bit different. Instead of rotating the ship and the space says fixed around you, the entire space rotates around you (and the ship remains fixed) When you thrust, the screen is scrolling in the direction you are facing.

The game can be ordered at: http://tjocktv.se/shop/

Although my copy of KnightEx was shipped almost 6 weeks ago, it only just arrived today - that's twice as long as any other package I've ordered from Europe has taken! I can only imagine it was sitting on a shelf somewhere in Canada Customs....  I just spent about 40 minutes playing it and I can highly recommend it to any fan of Joust.  Very well made!

That would be a nice option but unfortunately homebrew authors aren't very enthusiastic about selling roms, at least currently. Most people want CIBs but there are a few of us that would gladly purchase a Rom instead, depending on the game of course. On the flip side, lots of roms are made available for free, but I don't ever recall having the option to buy one. ?‍♂️
