zetastrike
Hi Everybody, I was playing through Montezuma's revenge on the VCS that I got not too long ago and felt as though the room layouts weren't the same as the 8bit version. I kept thinking "that should/shouldn't be there" or "There should have been more rooms on the way here". Are the two versions completely different? Either version is a great game though. Bomberang
Agreed. They are both great games. Your answer is here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montezuma%27s_Revenge_(video_game)
BassGuitari
Well, the 2600 version is a lot smaller (I have the Atari 5200 and Coleco versions), but still a great game in its own right. Highly underrated, IMO, possibly due to its rarity.
H.E.R.O.
I can't even fathom how many times I played this game on C64. I got the Android version (made by the original programmer, no less) but it feels a bit floaty & loose.
Ransom
I originally played this on the Apple ][, so it'll always be associated with that platform in my mind. All the other versions are "lesser" or "wrong," somehow, because of my experience. Even so, I do enjoy the VCS version for what it is.
