Atari ST- No Color

Hey guys. I booted my Atari 1040STfm up for the first time in a few months. It booted up fine and loaded disks fine, but I can't get it to display in color. I'm using the RF port and a color TV. Anybody got any ideas why I can't get it to show color?

The RF out on the ST is worst then the 4 port 5200 with a working OEM switchbox. Have you tried using a VCR? If not juts hook your RF out from the ST to the RF in on the VCR to see that helps out.

I just tried using my VCR. The picture quality was better, but it was still in black and white. I tried using a couple different cords too. Could there be a problem with the ST itself?

Could be a PAL- NTSC problem. Depending on your location and where the ST is from. Try if your Tv has settings for it or buy an st scart cable.
