+atari2600land
In an issue of 2600 Connection, it says the Okie Dokie programmer wanted to make it a 2k game just to see what it was like limiting oneself to 2k. That is what I like to do also. But when I go into the AtariAge store and look at the entry for Okie Dokie, it says it's 4k. Which is it, or did AtariAge add stuff to it? CPUWIZ
Perhaps it is because nobody has ever made a 2K homebrew PCB, 2716 chips are not exactly easy to get anymore and a lot of programmers will not program them.
Albert
I took a look at the binary I use to make carts, and it seems to be a unique 4K binary. That is, not doubled in size to fit in a 4K EPROM. I'd need to examine it more closely with a better tool, though, to be sure. ..Al
+atari2600land
Thanks for looking it up, Al. So there are separate 2k and 4k binaries of Okie Dokie around?
