I could see the big N going after them for nintendopower.com.

But not NintendoAge?

If Nintendo didn't own the domain (which I'm guessing they do), there's not much they could do about it unless it was being used to profit from Nintendo-owned IP. They could send threatening emails--banking on you not knowing they have no legal backbone--or they could try to buy it out.

*sigh* Yes, there's damn near everything-age these days. It's all I can do to keep from telling my NintendoAge-frequenting friend, "Atari was first." So back to the 80s, then.

There are SegaAge and PlaystationAge forums now? Jesus.

Anyway, unless you're going to get yourself a booth in the vendor area, threads on forums like this or posts in Facebook groups are probably as good as it's going to get.

MLB Shut down one of my favorite baseball podcasts because it was called "Cubs Cast"

I have a Sega Saturn I was given several years back. No games, no controller, no TV cables, no power cord. Will anyone have a setup I can use to test it out?

Maybe there will be one in the console+computer room you can do a swap with(with asking beforehand) to do a quick check? If it works, I'm betting you can get the missing parts easily in the vendor tent.

I was considering going up Friday night, but seeing as I have to first get home from work, then load a butt ton of stuff into the car (going up and down three flights of stairs!), do some stuff for the vacation I'm taking right after MGC, etc., I'd be in no condition to drive! I'm just going to head up butt early on Saturday.

I think I'm going to bring a "free" bag consisting of games, DVDs, etc that I don't want to bother selling, but don't want to bother indexing/taking pictures of, etc. so it thus, can be free!

* Robotech DVDs

* A few PS2 games

* a few DVD movies that I have no need to watch again

* A Wii knockoff console

* a cheap famiclone(I have several, I can sacrifice one)

I'll put 'er our there in a shopping bag with a "free" sign, and see what happens.

Depending on when and where you do this, I predict:

1. Someone will grab it before you even finish setting it down

2. A fist fight between two people who 'saw it first'

3. A guy with a table in the vendor hall grabs it and starts selling the items at inflated prices

Yeah, it depends what our E2M badges allow us into Friday. They seem to get a little more picky each year. BassGuitari gets the super duper power badge. :)

Respect my authoritaaah. :twisted: :-D

My badge still wouldn't get me into any of the VIG (or whatever) events, though. That's a whole separate thing that people pay extra for. And now that it's been brought to my attention, I'm actually not 100% certain I'll get a "super duper power badge" this year since, I believe, a different person is making them now. One of the organizer's brothers had been doing them in the past, and he'd make custom God Mode badges--as I am just now calling them--for me and a select group of close friends...and he moved to Seattle. And I haven't been contacted for a design yet...so maybe no God Mode for me this year?

Well if that's gonna happen, I'm gonna covertly sit across with my cell phone camera on record ready for instant YouTube fun footage.

I've got too much clutter in my house, and I need to cut back. Sadly, one Colecovision Gemini module isn't working at all. heh.

Leave it in a bathroom stall. That will be the true test of the hardcore bargain hunting gamer!
