Nutsy Doodleheimer
Absolutley!! They are the same system and will fit in either shell and vise versa.

0078265317
The telegames shell is slightly different shape isn't it?
Nutsy Doodleheimer
The telegames shell is slightly different shape isn't it? Nope. Compared to Atari systems even the Light Sixers shells and 4 switcher shells are the same.
Mitkraft
I can confirm. For a given 2600 variant (heavy, four switch, six switch) the differences are only cosmetic. Not sure about the Jr. But I suspect it applies to them also.
+DrVenkman
They are the same exact system; the ONLY thing different about them is the pattern used in the plastic "woodgrain" and the paint on and around the bezels. The part numbers of the top shell and bezel pieces are different, since they needed to keep track of stuff like that for production and ordering/inventory purposes. Here's an example from the rather amazingly-detailed Atari Engineering Information Item System Master List, available at AtariMania. It has part numbers for everything in the Atari production history, up through January 1984.
