lazzeri
Anybody ever seen one of those before? There´s an "international edition" box, label and catalog and a cheap-looking spanish addendum to the instruction booklet apparently made using a regular typewriter. zylon
I've see those and will admit to not knowing much about them. I do have a Seaquest in that variation style and possibly another.
Jason_Atari
Most of my non HES activision games are "international Edition", although not with the spanish leaflet.
Mayhem
A few of these "type" were sold in the UK, I always thought they were for European release or similar. Although if the cart is NTSC, maybe it's for Mexico?
lazzeri
This one showed up in Brazil, just bought it at an online auction. As soon as I got it I'll search for clues. Since we speak portuguese I'll bet those were not planned for distribution here. I'd say probably Argentina, Uruguay or Chile. Let's see if there's any leads in that leaflet. EDIT: my bet in those is because they are near us, and were relatively wealthy and open in mid-80s. AtariLeaf
We get the international versions here in Canada. I've seen a few like this and have had some in my collection, probably still have some of this variant.
lazzeri
So... Just got it. It´s a PAL cart (as box states) and was distributed in... Spain. It travelled a long way ´till down here. :-) Here´s the leaflet with an address in Madrid.
high voltage
International Editions were for Europe, with 5 languages on the back of the box, multi language manuals etc...
