Iv got the chance to buy this jaguar prototype but i don't know if it's legit or not and I don't know anything about prototypes. Unfortunately iv only got this one picture and the console is boxed. Also does anybody know what it's worth?as I don't want to over pay. Many thanks in advance. Cheers Sam. eightbit Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 I'm no expert but it does not look that much different to me than a retail unit...other than the ROM has a sticker on it and appears to be socketed. I did look inside my Jag and its about the same unit as a whole minus whats already been mentioned stickers and socket. Could the person who has it get you more info and some more pictures? Does it come with an Alpine development board too? Prices are really weird in the Jaguar market right now but I would say probably between $200-$250 permitting it is in perfect working order. Why not just save a bunch of money and get yourself a regular Jag?
