Heh. I wonder sometimes. ;) - Now I have to try and get my friend to come along so I can do the bar crawl afterwards. Since I will need a "Designated Driver" in order to participate...

Speaking of the ustream... that stuff is short lived? I ripped it all Sunday after I got home. But I never got the name of the guy that was posting/running the AV. I'd love to shove that all back up on youtube, but I'd want to ask first.

Anyone know who that is that I should ask?

Jon and I have been talking for the past couple of years about alternate ways to get the videos out. Vid.me looks feasible, and I think changes in YouTube over the past (compared to the problems he had at one time) may make it another viable option. Supposedly he is going to join here soon.

The day after the Faire I made a trip down to Brookfield to the Galloping Ghost Arcade. We should all check it out next year. Over 500 arcade games spanning the decades. My biggest complaint is many of the ones I wanted to play, like Tron and Choplifter, have marginally functional joysticks which make them difficult to play, if at all. Hopefully they will be fixed next time around.

There are three pinball machines there, only two of which were running. They have candy and drinks but no food. There is a Chinese restaurant next door and I recommend staying away from the diner across the street.

Sounds like it would be a great day trip :)

John gave me permission to repost the ustreams to YouTube. So here they are for longevity:
