Still finding new stuff more than 20 years after Lynx was discontinued. When there's special promotion today, the whole world knows about it before it's out. But back in 1995 (about when Lynx ceased) internet was still alien to most people. So when there's some special promotion, no one outside target country knows of it and often time remains unknown for many years.

I didn't start using internet until 1998 when AOL first offered unlimited online service (including internet via their shitty AOL browser) for flat rate. Before then, you're talking a few dollars per hour and that could run quite a bill for some people. I dumped AOL and went to next best available, Prodigy net which also started offering unlimited online for one monthly fee. (P.net was new back then, not related to classic version with online content but no internet).
