VicViper
WIll Euro carts work in US systems? does it depend on the TV? I'm using a newer flat screen tube TV, and usually use a NTSC 7800, but do have an NTSC 2600 Junior if that would work. After a bit of googling the general idea i got was "sometimes?" robbievgb
I've got a PAL Obeliex cart and a PAL video pinball cart that both work on my NTSC 7800. I can try them my 2600 Jr. when I get home tonight. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

atari181
It is hit or miss. I have 4 newer(flatscreen) TVs, PAL games work fine on 2 of them and roll on the other 2.
+SpiceWare
The carts will work just fine, the colors will be wrong. Whether or not your display can handle PAL frame rates is another issue entirely. http://www.spiceware.org/atari_ntsc_pal_secam.html
robbievgb
Obelix and Video Pinball both looked fine on my Sony Bravia LCD through RF from the Jr. I can get you the model number if you want, TV is about 6 years old.On my go-to test screen, a battery powered 2.3" Casio portable LCD TV from the late 90's, Video Pinball was ok, but Obelix looked shifted down by about 10%. I like the sight of the red label series. Completing the PAL Titles is much more difficult than the NTSC Series. If you are planing to collect them, be sure to have some extra dollars for some titles.
