Only time I was being killed was some strange debris flying back from the power ups. There is a deliberate feature that if you don't collect the pups they turn into a fireball but I was also having no end of wacky things going on - shooting powerups, powerups on the bottom of the vertical rows of planes, kept it interesting. Only cracker info? Tried a few versions - apart from the "t Le' al" version in which they do not shoot at you(!) There are two power-ups X increases fire power - looks like only once D is a Smart Bomb (press D to use it; best for the big stacks of planes to get the most points, every 1000pts=extra man) You need to always collect the power-ups or the fireball is likely to get you! Never mind Think I've been past level 6 though the game does have a few issues like getting stuck in the scenery. You can hop across the top platforms if you have your tail on the end of the platform. Not a bad game.
