Atari 5200 Collection For Sale

Tempest

Recommended Posts

I've decided to put my nearly complete boxed Atari 5200 collection up for sale. I'm only missing a few of the big ticket items. At the moment I'm not looking for trades and I'm NOT breaking this up. Truth be told I'm not 100% sure I want to sell this collection since it's so nice, but I might if the offer is good enough. So if you're interested in the entire thing, make me a good offer.

Wow I would love to buy your collection but I don't think I have a few grand to offer right now. If you do decide to sell certain parts separately I am interested in the

Masterplay 5200 Joystick Interface - Boxed!,

Wico Command Control Joystick - Includes Y Cable, Wico Keypad,

Meteorites.

Anyway best wishes from the Atari 5200 Podcast :).

Yea, beautiful eyecandy Tempest!

Wow amazing collection!

I found this site, must be new, not sure how accurate or legit it is.

I have no affiliation with the site, but I do use it all the time and the site owner/admin is a very nice guy. He started a thread here about his 2600 list:

I agree that Tempest should try and sell it all at once if he can.

But should you decide otherwise, I could really use that Beamrider box and manual to go with my loose cart?

Wouldn't mind those 2port and 4port loopback boards you have also. But I think you might still be able to get these from Best...I should check on that...

I too lack Meteorites but I know that will be way beyond my allowed limit during the holidays LOL!

Good luck with it Matt!

Hi, can you kindly tell me what the 2port and 4port loopback boards are for? Thanks.

You use them with the Diagnostic cart to test the cartridge ports and for calibrating the pokey for centering the controllers without actually plugging in controllers. Using them is the only real sure fire way to calibrate the controller ports properly. without them, you use best guess using a few games like Missile Command...etc to see where the crosshair lines up when first powering on the game.
