Shift838
The BBS will be offline from time to time this weekend. I will be doing some BBS maintenance and working on updating the Extended Basic code some to hopefully get word wrap enabled for both 40 and 80 column users. The Insane One has already provided me with the assembly code update and it has been running for the last few weeks so now I just need to update the XB code to get it enabled. Shift838
All, I have updated the XB code to enable the new word-wrap function in the new BBS Machine code provided by Insane Multitasker. the code has been updated to enable word-wrap on each line for both 40 and 80 column modes for e-mails, feedback and message bases. It will start wrap at the 76 character typed. So one just needs to keep typing exactly like they do on Heatwave BBS.

I tend to frequently lose characters at the word wrap junction if I type too fast... Not a huge deal and better than truncating whole words. I have to say that Tim's BBS program is the best 8-bit based one I have seen.

One of the reasons I wanted to use his Assembly code.
+Vorticon
I have to amend my statement after logging on to the Fusion BBS and state that it looks really great as well. I'm impressed by what you were able to come up with. Nicely done.

I'm impressed by what you were able to come up with. Nicely done. Thank you. It was about 3 years in the making before I was happy enough to bring it online. In the last year I have found areas that I wanted to tweak or change completely. After I brought it online I was having a few issues with the message bases and with some help from Tim I was able to re-code the whole section to get it working like I wanted it to. I'm glad you logged in. I want to get the BBS to hopefully be popular not only with the TI/Geneve community but others as well.

Shift838
What is the IP address of the BBS? I'd like to try and log in with TIMXT. The current IP is 99.122.140.172 port # 9640 The IP changes from could change since it's dynamically assigned, so it always best to ping it. TIMXT works great with it..
