tpugmire
I have one adapter left from my first batch. It allows you to use a SNES controller, making the games much more enjoyable. $50.00 shipped anywhere in the US. I may do another batch if there's enough interest. tpugmire
I have one more ready to go, and two more that are almost done. Also, I discovered that they may not work on a Magnavox 2200 system. They work great on all 400/500 series systems.
schnuth
This adapter also works great on my 910. If you have a CD-i and are in need of a controller, you need one of these. Highly recommended!

crtfreak
Bump, this my be my last batch for a while. I'm interested in one of these. Have they been tested on all CDi models or only a select few. Also how are the buttons mapped?
tpugmire
I have only personally tested it on a 450. I've sold a few, and have only come across one person locally who said it didn't work on their system which was a Memorex 2200. The 2200 is just a rebranded 910, so it should have worked, so I think that particular unit is broken somehow. The button mapping is as follows: Y - 1 B - 2 A and X - 3 (Which is 1 and 2 at the same time.) L - Cursor speed down R - Cursor speed up Start - Cursor speed reset to default Select - Changes button mapping (Inverts Y and B)

+chicgamer
Have you tried the SNES mouse out with this adapter? It would be very cool if this allowed it to be used with the CD-i.
tpugmire
I hadnt even thought of that. Ill give it a shot and report back.

robbievgb
What games have people tried this out on? I thought cdi control was analog so for some of the shooter games (Inca and chaos control come to mind) I'd imagine you'd lose some accuracy? Not being critical, just curious! tpugmire
The only shooter I have is Galaga on the Arcade Classics disc, and I havent noticed any huge differences. If anything, using the SNES controller makes it better because its a more responsive controller than the stock CD-I controllers.
