WAVE 1 GAMES
Hi folks, I took a small break from my Atari Jaguar development and started working on a sequel to my Retropia game. for now it is just called RETROPIA 2. Figured I would at least let folks know whats going on with me. This game is familiar territory with me so I should knock this out in no time. If you are interested below is a video of the "Storm From Hell" level. It needs a few more final touches on it but this level is pretty much done. I think I'm going to add some windmills flying around and perhaps a big 747 spiraling out of control.
WAVE 1 GAMES
Just another update. Level 4 was inspired by Mad Bodies. Level 2 is officially complete. I think the Asteroids level is pretty much done too.

Swansea_Mariner
Any chance of a Jaguar port of this alongside neon centipede?
WAVE 1 GAMES
Any chance of a Jaguar port of this alongside neon centipede? Im affraid there is no way to port this game to the Jaguar, at least not at the moment. I do have some ideas how to port the first Retropia but im affraid this one is just too much. The sprites are too big to store on a 4mb Jaguar cart and on top of that some of the levels will utilize 3D models which I haven't the slightest clue how to do on Jaguar. And based on prior games on the Jaguar that use 3D models im sure even if I did have an inkling of an idea how to incorporate them they wouldn't be as good as they would need to be. Anyway there already exists an engine that the first Retropia should work well on and I have already converted all the games sprites to Jaguar friendly format, however I am waiting on another Atari Age member (sh3-rg) to grant me permission to use said engine. Fingers crossed Edited December 23, 2016 by Jeffrey_Bones
Swansea_Mariner
Well let's hope Retropia would be a very welcome addition to the jaguar library! Perhaps once the SD cart is out that would help with Retropia 2 as I believe its 16MB
