Odyssey 2 US variations

I always thought there was only 2 variations for the Odyssey 2. Hard wired and plug in controller models. Both had the Odyssey 2 logo decaled on the smooth surface. Yesterday I picked up one hard wired that has an embossed plastic area with "Odyssey 2 microprocessor" I assume since the power supply that's hard wired says 82 on it, that this style was changed towards the end of the lifespan. It also came with a new old stock replacement hard wired controller in the original box with a bill reciept from January of 84. Does anyone else know of this variation or any others that were available during the lifespan of the O2?

Hm, I don't think I've ever heard of one with a hardwired power supply. But there are quite a few variants, mainly just mix-n-matches of a few different core features of components, like smooth vs. matte textured keyboards, removable vs. hardwired joysticks, silver vs. black joysticks (vs. Odyssey 3 joysticks!?...), printed logo vs. badge-plate, etc.

Semi-related but the only thing I can think of- there was a variant box (later issue?) that had the usual Odyssey 2 on the top, but plain cardboard all around the rest.

Post a pic of the hard-wired power supply if you can. I have several variations including one that came in the label only on the top box and have never seen one like that.
