erichenneke
I completed Bounty Hunter, thanks guys. I died a few more times and really should play it 1 more time as I didn't do something that would almost certainly kill me too! When are we getting the next in the series "The Bounty Hunter vs The Pharaoh" or was it the Bountr Hunter?!; young Eric was so concentrating on spelling Pharaoh correctly Enjoyable game thank you, now I must have another go at finishing Zork Wow, nice catch on the "Bounter" thing. I wonder how many times I read over that and never noticed that typo!!! As for Bounty Hunter #2 "vs. the Pharaoh"... it was about 70% finished "back in the day" but never completed. I had the story plot, objective and challenges and "map" all figured out but the coding was just never finished. I found the original physical floppy disk earlier this year but it was corrupted and I was pretty bummed out about that at the time. Luckily AtariGeezer and RusG were able to come to the rescue and fixed my corrupt disk images!! I also recently found my original notes and hand-drawn "map" of the game, so I could definitely still finish it up now but not sure how interested folks would be in that???? -Eric
freetz
I'd love to see the sequel! First of all, we need more text adventures , and secondly, it's great to finish unfinished projects more than 30 years later !
gorgh
N.A.G. - I forgot to say I think I had the guy off the right edge near the end of one of the runs! NAG 66222.jpg 66,222 OMG, that's just plain awesome! Wasn't aware that one can get such score! BTW did you like the ending?
snicklin
With regards to additional content on N.A.G., I have some ideas.... (dependent on free memory and whether you'd like these or not) * A little variety in the course texture. If it is possible to keep the illusion of a slope. * Changing background colour. * Stick him on a bicycle / unicycle * Trees of different sizes * More bushes * Holes have already been mentioned * Advertising at the side... (try to avoid greetz though) * Stars that alternate with skeleton faces, making you amend your speed accordingly * Rabbits that run across the course * Moles that pop up * Speech (that halts the music) Edited September 24, 2017 by snicklin

freetz
Deadline ends the moment Wolfgang counts the votes, so sometime during the JHV. So better make sure you vote a few days before in order not to come in late...

+CharlieChaplin
Hmmm, afaik the annual Abbuc meeting is at October 28th, the voting ends somewhere between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. I guess... I will vote at the meeting, like every year. Maybe some Abbuc member can install a good camera (I don't have one), so Abbuc can send a live-footage of the annual meeting, the counting of the votes and the announcement of the winners of the software contest... freetz
It would help the organizers a lot if as many people as possible could make use of the online-voting facility (whether at the JHV or before), because counting all the ballots takes up a lot of time that we cannot use for other (more fun) activities. As for live-footage, this is a lot of work and not just setting up a camera, so unless someone has experience in that, it's better to have no such thing as a bad implementation, IMHO. Besides, it's another incentive to come to the JHV ...

Mathy
Hello guys We can not stream the official part of the meeting. But we could stream the rest. Small problem: You never know when the official part is over until it's over. Maybe skr could set it up? Sincerely Mathy

Great selection of different genres this year. Attached find the abbuc version of Superfly XL (lite). It is pal only and runs best on real hardware. I hope I can find some time to make a ntsc version and to fix some minor things... Enjoy! superfly_boot.atr
