Rhindle the Dragon
I bought a bundle of games because there was a cartridge without a label and I thought it might be a rare title. The shipment came today and the mystery game is casino, though it has a signature on the back and I'm wondering if it's an autograph. It's peculiar because this cartridge has the later kind of dust cover, without the swinging flap on the inside. All the other games had text labels. Does anyone recognize this signature? Albert
Given the number of cartridges I've seen with names written on the back, it's more likely that some kid or parent wrote their name on the cart to identify its owner. This was pretty common "back in the day", especially with kids bringing carts over to others' houses, lending of games, etc. ..Al

They have game conventions though and most Atari programmers will sign your box or game for free. So they don't really have any extra value except to you, as most collectors consider signatures a bad thing on boxes, games etc.
Dreamcast Gamer
I see an H and the word Scott, but can't read any other letters. Makes me wonder if it's supposed to say "Howard Scott Warshaw." I probably overthought it Edited January 4, 2017 by Dreamcast Gamer
Amstari
There is some example of Howard Scott Warshaws autograph here: http://www.mayhem64.co.uk/photos/photos36.htm Casino was programmed by Bob Whitehead though, not HSW so I think this is just a cart that belonged to someone named Scott. blankcrows
"Coxed" is a term that has been used for marked cartridges. Named after some Cox signatures of course. Some old threads reference it.
