+karri
While trying out Flappy Bird I noticed that some eeproms worked while others from the same batch did not. The culprit turned out to be something written with small letters in the specs. It takes up to 1 ms before the eeprom can perform any reads or writes after power up. This seems to be very chip dependent. So if you read the high score at startup don't do it as the first thing in your program. Lynxman
How many times we ran into this kind of issues because hard users don´t read manuals? EEPROMs, Flash or even Eproms are always a source of stupid problems. To use different manufacturer multiply sometimes the problems... In my FlashCard project i remember 2 times i run into issues related to small notes in the manuals! And 1 time because i switched to an other brand...
