Smoke Monster
Are there any Vectrex experts offering repair services in the US? I will be back in the states in June and would like to have my Vectrex fixed then. Here is a thread with some details about my Vectrex's issues, and below are some pictures of the problem:

Smoke Monster
KylJoy has generously offered to look at it for me. I'm stoked about the possibility of having a working Vectrex again, and appreciate the help here. Cheers!
sideburn
I could use some help with repairing mine as well. Mine has no picture/no sound. Right now I am just focusing on trying to get a white dot on the screen.. I have done a cap kit replace on the analog board and I have already bought all the caps for the logic board, as well as new sockets and ICs for the logic board. I've checked the A/C voltage off the transformer and it is reading about 21VAC across the two red wires on the power switch/volume knob. I've checked voltages on the wires going to the CRT yoke and I am reading: Brown wire: 132VDC Black wire: 0VDC Gray wire: 0VDC Blue wire 10.4VDC White wire: 48.9VDC I can see a faint orange glow in the yoke of the crt but nothing on the front. no white dot or anything. I'd love to get mine working as well before I have to just part it out and sell it.. I have scopes, logic probes, multimeters, soldering equipment, and general electronics engineering knowledge but I am clueless about repairing this thing. Anyone willing to help me out?? I have another one in storage that essentially does the same thing. I recapped it including the integrator caps and no go. The vector lines are just all over the damn place though the game logic is working and sound works fine on my spare. Saddens me because the tube on that one is in really excellent shape and I've thought about more than once, swapping the tubes over. But then I'm worried the issue with the vector lines being all over the place is an issue with the yoke or deflection in the tube itself. bigbacon
I'm actually looking for someone as well to figure out why mine loses sound after a few minutes of use. I really don't want to mess around inside this thing. I am not confident in my skills to mess with it.
Commodore Loadstar 81
There are a few services available. See section on www.Vectrex.com for Vectrex Repairs, Rework, Mods, and Upgrades. It seems that that website has been taken over by the Vectrex Regeneration iOS app. And my Veccy just crapped out this week. (I get sound like normal, but no graphics other than a 1-cm bright white horizontal line in the center of the screen!) So… anyone know how to fix one of these things? I'm terrified to open it up, even just to look at the caps and ICs.

I have two Vectrex, neither really work well, and would love to find someone locally in Los Angeles especially to repair.
